Different projects, same goal

MOSAIC is joined by two other projects, HIT and PACT, under the Horizon Europe topic HORIZON-CL2-2025-01-TRANSFO-02 - Historical and regional analyses of industrial transitions and their lessons for ensuring a fair green transition. Together, the three projects aim to help policymakers understand industrial transitions, identify effective policies and measures, and develop strategies to manage risks, seize opportunities and support collaborative approaches to regional transformation.

The EU-funded MRV4SOC project aims to develop an inclusive, robust, transparent, and cost-effective approach to assess GHG emissions, estimate full carbon budgets, measure the accumulation of SOC, and evaluate the outcomes of conventional management practices and carbon farming. The project’s primary objective is to monitor changes in SOC accumulation within the context of both climate change and socio-economic pressures. Additionally, it seeks to standardise monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) schemes for the EU land sector.
